Kleinburg is a small community situated between two branches of the Humber River. The village is home to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, where visitors can view the works of the Group of Seven including many paintings by Tom Thomson. There are also many works by indigenous artists from across Canada.
The main street is reminiscent of small town Ontario. In fact, when the famous canadian author Pierre Burton visited Kleinburg in the 1940's he was so impressed that he purchased a property and made it his home for the next several decades.
