Lock 35 on the Trent-Severn Waterway is located in the community known as Rosedale (formerly Rosa Dale). It is a bit off the beaten track and services for boaters are limited. The locks secluded location draws fewer crowds in the summertime and is a perfect spot for an afternoon picnic.
The Rosedale lock has a length of 45.7 m (150 ft), a width of 9.7 m (32 ft) and an average lift of 1.2 m (4 ft).
